San Salvador, El Salvador
October 6-13, 2012
Here are some ways we are inviting the entire church to be involved in our upcoming trip to San Salvador.
1. Pray
a. for those who will be going.
b. for those who will be hearing.
c. for those who will be helping.
2. Give
- Everyone one on our team is paying $1200 to go on this trip.
- You can designate money to individuals or to the entire team.
- “Change for Change”- there are two buckets in the church to collect your loose change!
- Also, we are collecting Spanish Bibles, Hats, Shoes, and individually wrapped candy to carry with us.
3. Important Dates
- September 13th- Spirit Night at Murrells Inlet, Chick-Fil-A
• By simply eating dinner at CFA from 4:30-7:30 you will be helping our team.
• 20% of all sales during those three hours will go directly to our trip.
- September 16th- Spaghetti Lunch Fundraiser immediately following the 11 AM service.
• Following lunch we will be signing the hats we’ve collected as well as making salvation bracelets.

LOCAL MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES
1. THE WELL
- Contact: Dave Murray
- Mission: A ministry helping men recover from their hang-ups, habits, hurts
- Location: Sunday evenings @ 6:00 PM at the Church’s Beach House
2. TEACH MY PEOPLE
- Contact: Eric Spatz
- Mission: An after-school program that focuses on Christ while helping children academically
- Location: Pawleys Island
3. GOOD NEWS CLUB
- Contact: Marylyn Bazzeghin
- Mission: A weekly program that meets in a local elementary school whose specific goal is to introduce people to Jesus
- Location: Seaside Elementary (Surfside)
4. BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
- Contact: Josh Vallentine
- Mission: A program, connected with Salvation Army, that introduces children to Christ and provides programs to keep them off the street.
- Location: Georgetown
5. NATIONAL HEALTH CARE
- Contact: Lee Wenger
- Mission: Invest in older folks through participating in weekly Bible study in a large group setting, the doors are wide open to meet with the patients on an individual level as well.
- Location: National Health Care (Garden City)
6. EVANGELISM MINISTRY
- Contact: Mike & Laura Baur
- Mission: A ministry that seeks to engage people with the Gospel on an individual and large group level.
- Location: Murrells Inlet
